Before
Diverse Electric has worked out of Southampton since the 1970s, and it had never had a website.
Quintin Moser worked alongside John for years and is now carrying the company forward. The site was built with him, around the company’s own line: fifty years of keeping the Shores’ lights on.
A page for each kind of work
Residential, commercial and farm, and renovations each have their own page, with their own title, description and structured data.
The homepage sends people to them through three photo cards, one per service.

Their own job photos
The photos of the work come from Quintin’s own job sites: a standby generator install, new panels, barn wiring, in-floor heating and winter trenching.
They fill the service cards, the projects page and a strip of job-site photos that scrolls across the homepage.
A map of where they work
A Google Maps embed can only outline the municipality you search for, which here is Saugeen Shores. Diverse Electric works well past it: up to Sauble Beach and Hepworth, down to Kincardine, and over to Hanover, Walkerton, Chatsworth and Owen Sound.
So the footer has its own map, with a boundary drawn around that whole area. It traces itself when the footer scrolls into view.

The logo, moving
Their animated logo came out of Canva as an MP4, and an MP4 can’t have a transparent background, so the logo sat in a white box.
The white was keyed out frame by frame and the logo rebuilt as a transparent animated image, which plays once in the header.
Built to be found
Every page carries structured data for the business, and the service pages add their own service and breadcrumb markup. The homepage questions are marked up as an FAQ.
The site also has a sitemap and an llms.txt file for AI search tools, and the www address redirects to diverseelectric.ca, so Google sees one site. The footer carries the Electrical Safety Authority badge with their licence number.
